LibraryThing

LibraryThing, is a great tool for librarians and was a lot of fun to explore. It's always nice to see what other recommendations come up when you add a book to your account. I also like how you can find friends who have the same books in common, and browse other books they have posted. I think this tool can be useful, I am just not sure how often I would use it.

Delicious

I found Delicious to be very useful, especially for librarians. I know when I find sites that I love... I end up either writing them down on a piece of paper (old school style) or pasting them into a document folder. Delicious makes it so much easier to keep track of all my favorites. This is one tool I can see myself using in future.

myspace & facebook

The main library MySpace page has 16 friends and facebook has 135 fans. Out of the two it seems that facebook is more popular.

MySpace and facebook seemed similar because they are both social networking sites that allow you to meet new people and to keep in touch with old and new friends. However, some differences I found between the two were; MySpace seems easier to use and to search for people, and facebook seems a little more private and the pictures of people were smaller.

I had a pretty good experience with both MySpace and facebook...I don't use either but if I did I think I would prefer facebook.
